We believe that that participation... and communities are involved in the future changes of their neighborhood. For us, design is primarily a process of collaboration that results in impactful and inclusive propositions catering to various needs and desires. We use design to help maneuver complex situations and bridge divisions through fostering empathy. Such a process begins to create images, stories and experiences that move collective action towards a preferable future.
Our Urban Practice approach is designed intentionally to address existing gaps within the field. Within the intersection of Urban Planning, Urban Design, and Urban Advocacy there lies an opportunity to interrogate methods and identify critical areas for coordinated action. Our Collaborative matches our Challenges. Through our multicultural and multidisciplinary backgrounds we are able to use design to navigate the challenges facing cities today to create strategies for more just cities of tomorrow.
